We are looking for a committed and professional person who has the flexibility and willingness to work across the breadth of activity involved in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). You will be gaining experience and helping to deliver our Training, Progressive EDI activities linked to our EDI Strategic ambitions and growth for the organisation. Mission Diverse are looking for someone to work across the service to deliver training related to EDI, engaging staff, young people and volunteers, and work to grow the profile of our organisation. Your training will aim to increase understanding of EDI. As a trainer, you will play a crucial role to administer and coordinate and assist the EDI Manager.

Core Role

  • A fast learner who is able to deliver our interactive EDI related training programmes which include, EDI Race in the Workplace, Unconscious Bias, and Microaggressions Training. (Training will be provided to you by Mission Diverse)
  • Deliver training both virtually and face-to-face: via Microsoft Teams or Zoom (tech-competence is an important requirement).
  • Adapt programme design to maintain a memorable online delegate experience.
  • Deliver face-to-face at client premises UK-wide (overnight stays may be required).
  • Work closely to develop sales and consult with clients regarding their EDI training, strategy in order to scope tailor-made solutions.
  • To contact and follow up with new, prospective, and existing clients using online client relationship management systems.

The successful candidate will also have:

  • Creating creative and engaging learning solutions.
  • Business development, client account management and networking.
  • Create and deliver interactive training materials (from a blank sheet of paper) that smash the ‘diversity & inclusion training is boring’ myth out of the park!
  • Writing proposals that outline client solutions.
  • Proficiently use computer technology which includes Microsoft Office programmes and email services.
  • Data collation and analysis.

Salary: £19,000 – £21,000 (depending on experience)
