Why is Training & Support Important?
In short, our equality and diversity training course ensures you and your staff are informed and understand the needs of others. As well as this, our training provides you with critical understanding and implementation of procedure needed in the workplace that will both prevent and protect people from discrimination.
Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Training is delivered face-to-face, with facilitated full and half-day training that includes:

Our equality and diversity training is a course provided to people in the workplace to ensure they are compliant in areas such as the 2010 Equality Act, Sex Discrimination Act 1975, Race Relations Act 1976 and the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. All of which address discrimination against protected characteristics such as: race, age, gender, religion, sex, disability, sexual orientation, marital status and pregnancy.
Our aim is to ensure your entire organisation and employees are compliant and understand the legislation in relation to discrimination and protected characteristics in the simplest way possible.
In order to improve and encourage diversity in the workplace your staff must be trained on what equality and diversity is. Our training course is specially designed to provide you with effective and improvement based equality and diversity strategies. All of which can be used to promote and encourage diversity in the workplace.
We work closely with senior and mid-level managers to ensure they are able to identify employee talent without any conscious or unconscious bias. This is done to encourage identifying talent within an organisation, enabling discussion forums and more.
At Mission Diverse we believe in connecting companies with communities. Unlike some organisations, we are a non-profit company, who use the money you pay us for our training programmes, to reinvest in our Local Community Employability and Enterprise programmes.
Our employability and enterprise programmes provide education, mentoring and personal development training to people from underrepresented and disadvantaged communities. By doing this we hope to provide those from underrepresented communities with the necessary skills and knowledge to enter entrepreneurship and the workplace (…or maybe come and work in your company!).
